I wish you would tell that to the fucking news media here in New Zealand - like we give a fuck about Trump! But it's also like your bloody Independence Day - don't get me wrong, I'm not dissing your National Day, just why the fuck do we have to celebrate it. We have our own culture and National Day, 6th Feb Waitangi Day, yet every bloody 4th July, out come the "Stars & Stripes" and pubs advertising 4th of July celebrations. Guess what? it's of no concern to us! Just like your politics. HOWEVER!!! I do have worries about how his administration will affect the American people and International relationships - too much of a wild card for my liking. End of rant.

I have posted political blogs as well. Guilty as charged! My future post will concentrate on: Sex, drugs and rock n roll!

I found most political blogs are just bs drama by people who are addicted to drama they only post opinions they read some place else and don't actually have an opinion of their own. When someone writes a political blog of their opinion in their own words and thoughts . Those are the the blogs that I like to read and participate in...

No matter if you support him or dislike him, his actions as President are going to have a significant impact on  the USA and our place in world affairs, as well as many minority and women's groups, including the LGBT (sorry Nick) community.  From reading many blogs here, it seems evident that there are many GBT members who are intelligent and thoughtful, so why wouldn't we want to see their views on something with such far-reaching impact on us and our lives.  Once we start making "rules" about what we can and cannot discuss in this forum we have become those who would oppress open and free discussion.
