My Question and your opinions

Well this is my first post and it will be a question. First some background.
I met my boyfriend in the UK and I love him very much. We skype every day and he has been my last sexual partner since we last made love. Thing is, we have to wait two years to be with each other again. We plan on moving in but I have to wait for him to finish his schooling. I dont want him to throw his career away. We will have to wait 10 years to final live together. What do you guys think? is it worth it to stay in this relationship as i feel so strongly for him? What are your opinions on my relationship?

10 years is a long time to be separate from someone. Sure you'll have Skype and the occasional visit, but I think you really need to ask yourself about how difficult it will be, and it will be difficult. I think that if you really like this gentleman, you should attempt it. If you find the distance taking too much of a toll, perhaps you should take a break and see other guys. On one hand, successfully transcending distance to have a loving relationship with someone would be glorious. On the other, not to sound too pessimistic, if all does not fair so well, you have the issue that you wasted time waiting. Be sure to have a serious talk with him about all this. Good luck!

In my opinion love encompasses physical, spiritual, mental, and sexual aspects. If any of these are lacking it may not be love but rather lust or just the need to be, or feel, something that isn't really there. I personally could not have an "on-line romance, but some swear they are real and can work. 10 years is an awful long time to wait for someone. Obviously these are just my thoughts and you have to do what you feel is right for you, and for him. Good luck!

My friend in a world with 7 billion people to find the one person who loves you for being you and you loving him for who he is, there is no more priceless a gift. I know we all look at time and say wow 10 years..thats like forever. But you will see each other again and soon (trust me 2 years goes by in a heartbeat at my age). Ten years may take a little while longer but there is no obstacle love cant overcome and trust me when you move in together it will be as if time will last forever :)
