OK Let me give you some STRONG ADVICE do not come out like a nuclear bomb shouting fro the rooftops. It is just a horrible idea. Carefully pick who you want to tell. It's been a long while since I've had one of those gaydar meet up things, but when they did happen it was always someone I'd talked to for a quite while and sort of knew as a person; we'd then gone out for a few drinks, a date, so there was quite a bit of a conversation getting-to-know-each-other background. After finally getting together in bed we could always just sink back into that basic friendship stuff. For more immediate hook ups I'd just suggest that a kind of civilised friendliness is the key. If you both had a good time together then there's bound to be a lingering fondness. If not, then, um, dunno. That is awkward.
