Browser wars: which one do y'all pick (Firefox vs. Chrome vs. Opera vs. MS Edge)

Some of us rely on one browser for more than one thing, others choose a browser for one thing in particular... so I'm asking ALL GBT users, which browser do you pick and name your choices wisely too.


Like how reliable it is, how it protects you privately, and what is the most suitable one for your personal needs?

I use Chrome never had any issues with it. Well as for privacy it all depends on what you do. The browser can be really safe with all privacy setting turned on but if you have a virus on your computer that you are not aware of then there really no privacy there.

Also use Dolphin for my tablet and like it a lot

@DrMora I never heard of SlimBrowser. Is it anything like Firefox? Nice answers so far, guys.

I use both Firefox and Chrome. Haven't had issues with either. Use Chrome mostly because much of my work is organized are Google products. and it integrates those things well. I tend to use Firefox for non work related things, like GBT.

I use Firefox. I'm on a Mac so no MS Edge. Tried Safari, Chrome and Opera and did not feel comfortable using either one of them.

A very useful blog post, funksexual. I'm always up for trying new browsers, although I haven't used MS Edge yet. The one I keep coming back to over the last decade is SlimBrowser. It gives me very few pop-up problems compared to the other major browsers. I also find it the easiest to use when I'm saving pictures to my external hard drive, which I do quite a bit, especially since I found GBT.
