Here is the drill of the 435 Congressmen about 33 have veto power over any legislation. The house is about 48% D 52% R without those far right demagogues s nothing proposed by the GOP can pass. So Congress is held hostage by 1/6 of the House

From where I sit, it has been great to have an American President who thinks before he shoots. He would have achieved more if he hadn't been stymied by the most nuttily partisan right wing Congress we have ever seen.

It's all just political rhetoric. Hated Bush who in my opinion was little more than a trigger-happy gun slinger. The Obomber(LOL) is just another president. Can't wait to see what's next, given the way the system works. Hey. it's the USA! Anything can happen. But all that shit about the economy being better is just crap. I live near Atlanta, the city of my heart and soul, and there are empty strip malls everywhere. It wasn't anywhere near that way ten years ago.
