So I clicked on a avatar of an online user and it posted "you must be friends to view this private user to request a friendship with this user"...Um I thought thats what I was asking for..I am assuming we wont be friends here.Oh well, my loss I guess.

I am in private mode and I got a friend request from a member I didn't even know, and was NOT (obviously) a current friend. I responded in the affirmative manner, and we are now 'official' amigos. No hay problema! ;))

I assume you can't even send a member with a private wall ,a friend request.. A bit odd I say..
