Yes, LivingInAPotato was the first one with the right answer and congrats to roughcast too, his hometown:) My secretary, Sam knows again everything, One very important point is that there is a misconception that the Cape of Good Hope is the southern tip of Africa, because it was once believed to be the dividing point between the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. In fact, the southernmost point is Cape Agulhas, about 150 kilometres (90 mi) to the east-southeast. Thank you again, soon it's time for the next Quiz:)

Sky View of Cape Town South Africa .
Cape Town (Kaapstad in Afrikaans, English Cape Town, Ikapa Xhosa) is a city in South Africa, capital of the Cape Colony (1652-1910) and then the Cape Province (1910-1994). She is currently the provincial capital of the Western Cape.
Today, the town of Cape encompasses all these territories as well as extending the Cape Flats (the "Cape Plain") south to the edges of False Bay and east to the Hottentots-Holland (in) western part of the Cape Fold Belt (Cape Fold Belt)
Cape Town is located at latitude 33.55° S (approx. the same as Sydney and Buenos Aires and equivalent to Casablanca and Los Angeles in the northern hemisphere) and longitude 18.25° E. Table Mountain, with its near vertical cliffs and flat-topped summit over 1,000 m (3,300 ft) high, and with Devil's Peak and Lion's Head on either side, together form a dramatic mountainous backdrop enclosing the central area of Cape Town, the so-called City Bowl..
In 2007, the metropolitan area of Cape municipality has about 3,497,000 inhabitants, 44% of coloreds, 35% of blacks and 19.3% of blancs. In 2011, the metropolitan area of Cape municipality has 3,740,026 inhabitants, 42.4% of coloreds, 38.6% of blacks and 15.7% of blancs.
The mother tongue of Cape residents is English (51%) followed by Afrikaans (43.72%) . At the level of the agglomeration, the dominant mother tongue is Afrikaans residents (41.4%) followed by English (27.9%) and Xhosa (28.7%), the sharp increase since the recent waves of migration.

Yes it's Cape Town South Africa. Table Mountain's in the background from a side view. My hometown too :)
Very beautiful city. You can see the World Cup Soccer stadium to the left of the pic.
Almost southernmost point of African Continent but not quite. Very close though.
Y'all should come visit - Cape Town is rated as a Gay friendly City, whatever that means. And the currency exchange rate works no matter where you come from! You'll live like kings :)
