Music! Good for the soul...

iamore Blog Last Activity 1 year ago 1.1K views 48 comments

Music is a huge part of my life!  I'm the guy that always has headphones on, and adds a soundtrack to everything I do.  Great music is sound that builds emotion, and lyrics are a huge motivation to me.  I love songs with deep concepts, philosophical meanings or intricate stories.  All my favorite artists are more than just the microphone, they have great minds and have ideas they want to share.

So PLEASE POST YOUR FAVORITE SONGS, and lets talk music!

Also, if anyone has Spotify, I'm "captainmorrow"...  Let's friend up!!

One of my favorite pieces of music ever. The beginning sounds sad but the song becomes gradually more cheerful and powerful, I love it, it always cheers me up :D

Favorite live performances?  I love the crowd in this recording!  You can hear them sing every word.  What a great concert

@Absolutimente69:  Favorite solo has to be Comfortably Numb, especially the "Pulse" DVD recording.  Kinda cliche I know, but the atmosphere in the stadium gets me choked up.  Also, like so many others, I was recently blown away by Prince's solo in this While My Guitar Gently Weeps.

I love music made by musicians.  I really like music of all kinds but I am especially drawn to people and groups that are really skilled and gifted in the art of music.  I tend to like what would be called “classic rock” and especially live performances.  This has a really good solo completely improvised as his solos always were.
