Sunday morning thoughts on my dock...

If I stop for a while to talk to you about life, just like this, peacefully, sitting on my dock,I would tell you the memories well etched into my memory,of this time when aging was still pretty illusional, when I was annoying small girls not far from the swings and when my bag of marbles became a real treasure and those snowy winters, building igloos and coming home with frozen feet just in time for the cartoons. But at the end of the path tell me what will remain of the small school and the playground ? When the paper planes don’t fly through the wind anymore,we tell ourselves that good times after all fly by like... a falling star.

If I stop for a while to talk to you about life,I note that quite often we don’t choose but we undergo and kids's dreams vanish or repress In this crude reality

that takes us into the mold.

The thirties, the belly, the kids, the mortgage, the happiness and the pain, the successes and the failures. Working, do his best, tear out, making out and hope to be a bit happy before dying. But at the end of the path tell me what will remain of our small passage in this crazy world ? After existing to gain time we’ll tell ourselves that we were after all just falling stars.

If I stop for a while to talk to you about life, just like this, peacefully, not far from the city, it’s because with you I feel good and I don’t want to worry anymore

cause you know looking too far is not better than looking back. Despite the old bitterness and the loves that pass by,the buddies we loose in the fog and the ideals that break down, life hangs on and reborn as springtimes come back in a fresh air breath that soothes the hearts in pain. So if tonight you want to stay with me, the night is sweet, we can walk and even if everything last only for some time I’d like you to be for a while my falling star.

But at the end of the path tell me what will remain?

But at the end of the path tell me what will remain?

 Just falling stars…

friend word song ripples in a lake - at the end of the path well - who knows - maybe the crow or the mighty beach tree
