This is a fake or your hero is an asshole. Although the quality is pretty bad - if you watch the scene at about 27 seconds, you can see the homeless sitting on the left side.

Sure, it's embarassing that so many people did not help. But I wonder why this heroic homeless needed 2 hours to stand up, walk approximately 15 ft and help the kid.

Gotta say how proud I am to be a Kiwi living in NZ where we look out for each other. It's shocking the way American society treats it's citizens, not just the homeless or the coloured or the poor. It's a really sad indictment on your society. Not trying to have a go at you guy's - it's just the way we see it in general, from the point of view of a society with strong social values (not say'n we don't have our probs either, but NOT THIS!!!)
this doesn't surprise me at all :( :( lived in ny lived a bunch of places and to be honest that is part of the reason i shall always stay broke i always seem to help people that i think need and then they steal from me. the one stole over 5 grand and well yea a whole bunch of drugs lol however i continue to help some people just not as many as i have done before and if i would have seen him on the street yea i would have gave him my jacket as well and most likely took him to get something to eat. however not much more then that sorry to say

It's revolting and shameful to see peoples insensitive to the pain of others especially homeless children. But luckily there are still peoples who have the heart at the right place and especially  homeless helping another homeless.Â
