I will NEVER allow myself to be bullied or made the butt of someones jokes. I did when I was younger - late teens/twenties, to the point that I would cry myself to sleep at night and contemplated suicide, all because the guy I was in love with was an asshole who enjoyed making himself look good in front of his friends by belittling me. Now I stand up for myself and take no shit from anyone! That includes employers!
They may have been bullied, so "acting out". Just sayin'...
