I have to compliment the people world wide protesting against the lunatic and dangerous Trump. I know I live in Ireland but Im from the Bronx and am ashamed at being a Yank (never thought Id ever say that). If you think he will improve things for the good ole US of A you are in cloud cookoo land. The man is a demon/ Funny. the Soviets love him?

Hysteria seems to be the order of the day regarding the democratically-elected new President. Only time will tell if he's any good and until such time, I remain hopeful.
as discouraged as i am about trump taking office, i am willing to pray for him and hope he can do some much needed improvements for this country. all of his actions so far indicate he will not. the people he surrounds himself with are a good indication of where he will lead. read up on his cabinet choices, bizarre to say the least. and no longer will the US be a leader in the world, but will only care about the US. i look for huge infighting within the house and senate and look, we can all see where that has gotten us the last six years.
Actually as Russian/American journalist Masha Gessen has documented the average Russian citizen does not like Trump either, the love affair with Trump in Moscow is limited to the tyrannical dictator leadership of Vladimir Putin and his inner circle. Free speech, open government and a free press don’t exist in Russia which is why they don’t protest and you can already see similarities on day one from our new regime. Such as the press conference yesterday, called solely to lie to the public, don’t trust what the people on the ground are saying, don’t believe your own eyes, we are bigger, more loved and more respected than any leader anywhere ever! Then to leave with no chance for any questions so there can be no challenge and no accountability and offer not one shred of evidence to back up those claims.

Thank you!  Most evening  news reports indicated he finally got the large crowds he has been yammering about. Photos showed the Washington mall packed with at least twice as many protesters as there were supporters at the inauguration. I'm sure he will write it off  as "fake news", or, maybe he will start to get the message?  Â
