Preston
The great tragedy that happens in a friendship is the death of either friend.The memory of the dead will be very painful for the living one.Today I am in such a situation.The death of my dear friend Preston has left me with grief and memories of him.Some time back as I was posting on the walls of my friends I noticed the posts of Preston.And as he seemed to be a new member I visited his wall and posted a pic with a comment welcoming him to the GBT.I also gave him 5 stars.Preston also made a reply post and gave me too  5 stars.And there our friendship began.I regularly posted on his wall.And he posted back.He always added a comment of love like ‘Hello My Sweet Friend’ to his posts on my wall.I had sent an email appreciating his beautiful posts.He showed love and consideration to others.The pics he posted were beautiful and he had a good sense of humor which was evident in his witty comments added to the posts.After joining GBT he became dear to others within a short period of time.And it was proof of the quality of his character.He may not have posted on the walls of every GBT  member.Therefore many members didn’t know him.But he won the hearts of those members on whose walls he posted.That’s why he became dear to me.The assessment I made of him from our friendship is that he was a person with a good and loving heart.It was from his note on his wall that I knew about his accident.But the tone of his note indicated that he was on the path of recovery.But two days ago when I saw the note of Preston’s friend informing that he was in critical condition I realized that the hope of my beloved friend’s recovery was fading away. I prayed to God to give him longevity and health to bring him back to GBT so that he continues to be our dear friend and makes us happy with his posts.But the God decided otherwise.He called Preston back to his side.It’s said that God calls good people back to him very early.But the loss of such a good and lovable friend is unbearable.Nobody else can substitute him.I cried thinking of him.Our friendship was brief.But Preston created a long lasting impression on me with his love and affection.Death has snatched him away from me.But he will live in my heart as the dear and lovable friend.
When I look at the pics Preston posted on my wall and read his reply to my email appreciating his beautiful posts they tug at my heart strings.Every day when I post on the walls of others I miss my dear friend very much.

I didn't get acquainted with Preston, or JB either, but I believe there is an afterlife, for sure, and that they can feel your loving thoughts towards them.Â
With the loss of my loving partner, Angelo, at age 36, I spent a lot of time replaying old and dear conversations with him. Usually, this is right before going to sleep, and right after waking up. Ten years now, and we are having new conversations, not just replayed old ones.Â
Me: Lambie, I can't believe you're FORTY-SIX!!
Angelo:Â Shut up!
Me:Â No, really, you once called me "pork chop" when I was only 32, and now you're FORTY-SIX!Â
Angelo:Â Shut up, I said!Â
Me:Â My middle aged Lambie!
Angelo:Â (sigh)
How old was he? What it an accident. Well if you are any indication of Preston the man made this world a better place and really what else can you ask of one man. Hugs for you my boy

all I've done all day is cry, Preston was a great person. Life is so unfair. Life sucks why live it, just brings pain.

Too young and too early
Beautiful post my Friend, he is looking down down on you with appreciation and will find a way to let you know he is no longer in pain. He is now truly at peace.Â
 I too was fond of him. He fit right in from day one. Charismatic is what he was. He will be missed.
yea it sucks when someone we care for dies it does my step brother just recently passed away at a young age :( :( :( and we can't forget jb at a very very young age and i said it before and i shall say it again i don't understand why god takes good people in life instead of the assholes of the world. however just cause they passed away doesn't mean we have to stop thinking about all the good they have done. all the smiles they have brought to our own lives :) :) instead of thinking that they are gone and we will never see them again think about all the good they brought to ur lives :) :) im not saying it is going to hurt any less however thinking about all the good that they brought to ur lives might help them still live in ur hearts i don't know its just my two cents. i still miss jb and yes i still miss by step brother. and i talk to them every day :) :) and yea i believe in god and talk to him as well i just wish i could figure out why he takes the good people in life :( :( :(Â
Thank you for writing a blog about Preston my friend and btw long time no see.We fell out of touch but I smile when I see u on friends walls.
I was down on a few occasions and Preston helped me smile again.by his thoughtful comments.
He was good at that... full of life and humour.. Always had something nice to say.Even at his age he inspired me to be more positive and take life by the horns.
