Technological Singularity. Have you heard of it. It makes so much of what goes on here absolutely entertaining

First of all the world is ruled by Wall Street. Wall Street has abdicated their authority to the AI's. What makes it more entertaining is the scientists and engineers want to give more power to Artificial Intelligence in every aspect of our lives. I see the left and the right and sit back and enjoy. What do you think a logic mechanism is going to do with this. A logic mechanism that will soon have much more power over us? They need humans, but in what capacity and which kind of human? The answer is clear. So with the bickering and back-biting, remember, free will may be an increasingly declining commodity.

Hi Leo, the only singularity I've heard of refers to the infinitely small point from which astrophysicists suggest the big bang emanated.

That's closer to the question I was asking. When I study my coding and do all kind of cute things with it, I always ask myself this question. I am by no means at the level of the smarter people that are proficient is AI coding, but I can see the implications nonetheless. Tristan's response asked the question better than my original blog. It may be too early to ask the question, but what happens when they don't need us anymore? Robots can't reason...yet. But that's what AI is all about isn't it? Reasoning? I hope Cody and SirCumsalot are worst casing the scenario, but it seems to be a possibilty. As I read the latest research, I am amazed at the accomplishments, but that only makes me ask the question more and more.

we could use a good AI takeover right about now, terminator style.  Society is a disaster area.
