Why do some members not have any post what so ever, but have been members for a long time and have lots of friends and a high star rating.  Why is this?

Some don't post because they upload pictures or videos instead and stay out of the muck.  Some of them have the higher ratings.

I stay on the DL these days but still get random friend requests with the same lame message, so I don't accept. If someone wants to friend me, send a customized request or email me why you want to friend me.

I was posting on my old profile with some difficulties but not too much.   Then when I set up a new PC I needed my Password - DAH!!!  YEP - I'd forgotten it!!!!  To make things worse I'd changed Internet Providers and thus email address so not possible to reset password.

Managed to set up new profile on the 4th attempt (V1 - V3 all blocked/lost or whatever) so now just 'cruise' in every now and then without any hassles of posting/uploading etc.  Time is also an issue these days.

I tried posting vids and pic and for some reason, they were rejected. It is time-consuming so at this stage, with hardly anything accepted I find it is a waste of my time. Now, to be honest, I do like young boys, so it's possible that stuff was rejected as too young, even though the pics were not nudes. Then I see pics of boys as young or younger than what I wanted to post so I figure it's who you know; not what you post.

Then I got banned during a purge of bots which I certainly am not. Not really sure of what a bot is.

God knows I've tried

As a new member (one and a half years ago) I uploaded quite a number of videos and photo galleries. MY was that a hassle. Only one of my photo galleries ever made to the site, and no matter how often I tried to upload more/different ones - all I ever got was 'upload complete, please wait for admin approval'. They never appeared anywhere on the site. Same thing with videos. Only one video made it to the site right away. As with the others, I had to re-upload them multiple times until one copy finally made it to my profile. After a while I was fed up with this 'please wait for admin approval' shit. I asked for help in a blog of my own (0 comments), and I asked for help in Nick's 'site issues' blog (0 comments). Later I saw other new members asking for help on the same topic with the same result. The only logical consequence was to stop posting altogether, which I did. I also deleted the single photo gallery that made it to the site because with its 'Africa' theme it wasn't representative for me.

There you go. That's why I'll never post photos/videos on this site again. The admin doesn't want them.

I deleted all my posts, blogs, pics, videos and cleared my wall because of the purge. I'm busy organising accommodation for Uni and will not be on GayBoysTube all that often. So I thought it best to delete everything to avoid having my account suspended or deleted in my absence.

I'm terribly sorry if such activity by myself and others has compelled you to write this blog

Egos? There r those in competition 4 popularity as well. A new user gets about 50 friend requests from the start with the repetition message about being made a "friend." Some pride themselves on their numbers & r always asking everyone 2 accept their friendship by posting a positive picture or statement about giving them 5 stars - a bribe for a return.

Perhaps posting isn't everything. Perhaps somehow the true personality of the member was exposed either through the blogs or PM's to others and people just decided that they were really nice human beings. Is posting a competition? Does it make you more valuable to post? I don't know. But maybe you can figure that out for me. The ones that are my friends really like me and I don't post anywhere. Let me know what you find out, would you? Thanks.
