glad the elections are over
Glad this has passed. Now we can fight about all the excess Christmas commercials and wheather to say happy holidays or merry christmas. I know a few of you will not let us down.

OK, to lighten the mood, what's everyone's "favorite Xmas TV show", if you have one?
Mine used to be the Charlie Brown / Peanuts one (then I purchased the tape at a gas station!, 2 decades ago, and wore that out); now it's the Rudolph one. ("Have a Holly Jolly Christmas" sung by Burl Ives. And the Island of Misfit Toys. And Hermy the Dentist.)
Election Not over in Florida the DemocRATS are trying to STEAL XMAS from Senator Scott and Governor De Santos
The elections might be over but we will still have to listen to all the whining, by both sides, about fraud, Russia, you name it. Same old some just a different tune. Still won't get anything done. Thinking very seriously about moving to Germany. Find a nice apartment and live out the rest of my life. Won't care about the news, what is going on, or anything else.
and I as well , only they aren't quite in GA sheesh . Pleased to see you're popping in more often .
I kind of agree with Zombi below about Christmas now, it's such a headache. (But, my birthday is in December, so I've always had a love-hate relationship with Decembers — for me it's always been one month having TWO days of presents, then 11 months of nothing....)
But I do have a personal tradition (started it in my 20s, I forget where I got it from) about New Year. I, personally, now celebrate HALF New Years, July 1, as well as January 1. Specifically because, it gives me TWICE as often to make Resolutions! I like trying to improve myself like that.
Happy Hanukkah! :)
Hey Vegas. Glad you are hanging in there. Hope you are feeling better. One of us just made a really nice jump off a berm, but face-planted into the next one. Better luck next time. Good Luck.
Christmas comes to often. Make it every couple or few years. Plus it should be happy Christmas as it is part of our cultures. I think saying happy holidays is far too PC.
