Don't know if this is per se a "gay movie", but I love "Edward II" (directed by Jarman).  Also I like "Saudade" (German/Brazilian movie).  And "You I Love" (Russian movie, I made a Facebook fan-page about it:  https://www.facebook.com/YouILoveMovie/ ).

Great topic. I love the short gay genre, specially the coming of age films. DARE is one of my favorites. Awesome dialog and portrayal between the two leads.

excellent film. Thoughtful, original and heartbreaking (in the best sense). I am surprised it even got made! Art films like this don't always find a marketplace, let alone gay oriented ones.Â
