Things To Be Thankful For

I'm gonna try something a little different. Because life is all about trying different things until you find what works for you, right? That's what they tell me anyway. So, presented for your boredom is this list, of no particular order, things that I am thankful for. Some with explanations for why I am grateful and some with no explanation at all.

1. Cute boys with beautiful eyes. (duh...)

2. Listening to Khalid's album "Suncity" through my Sony X-BASS headphones.

3. Costco 11 inch pumpkin pies.

4. My (very nearly) pristine, totally stock 1992 Honda Accord EX (Because it's just so damn comfortable to drive, it is solid, reliable, has a 5 speed manual transmission! driving it reminds me of a time when they built cars to last and I can do most of the maintenance work on it myself. (I have spent the last six months driving literally brand new off the boat or train Subaru's, Honda's, Hyundai's, Lincoln's, Ford Raptor Trucks, and Ford Mustangs and everything about them feels transient.)

5. Foreign movies about Gay people that are just that...people who happen to be gay (or otherwise not "bormal.")

6. My DAD (Mom...I have not stopped missing you in eight years...)

7. Living in the state of Washington, which leads to...

8. Rain

9. Going to the movies on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. (I feel so bad for the kids that have to work just so drifters like me have a place to go.)

10. My body. (It isn't beautiful, muscled, or well endowed. But, It is healthy and thin.)

11. Troye Sivan, Greyson Chance, Ronan Parke, and Bars

i have been thankful for many things over the years as well. the only one left is my 2001 elantra, 350k miles. she burns oil and needs her instrument panel replaced (burned out light bulbs).

Thanks Speedoflove!

It should read: Troye Sivan, Greyson Chance, Bars & Melody and Ronan Parke. (because I have watched and listened as their music evolved, they grew up and their voices changed, and their fame grew along with them.) Thank you for taking the time to read and comment.
