My current favorite readings are histarical mystery novels by Tim Dorsey featuring Surge Storm an unemployed, bipolar serial killer, and trust baby, who very infrequently takes his meds; and his stoner sidekick, Coleman. Comically great from being to end.
Other novelists I have binged read - Cormac McCrthy's Border Trilogy, The Road and No Country for Old Men.
Kurt Vonnegut - Cat's Cradle, Player Piano, God Bless You Mr. Rosewater (reference my user name), Sirens of Titan (featuring Kilgore Trout) and Slaugher House 5, one of the best anti-war novels of the 20th century.
So many more, but I will leave it with these selections.
Just finished WHERE THE CRAWDADS SING... wonderful novel.....fine read, excellent theme...Loved it!!!
