Downloading from YouTube

Does anyone know how to download from YouTube?  What I've tried so far doesn't seem to be working.

enter the url - Copy / paste it from the address bar , click the down arrow and choose MP4 or MP4 HD  the click convert to.  WHEN the next window pops up it gos to 100 then you click Download  ONLY click on the lil window that asks you where to save it - Ignore the other one its adds No Matter what it said close it after you save your video Without clicking on it or anything in it or with it.....  If you have Chrome or Firefox you can get an Extention or Add on to make your browser download them BUT they are funky (they do not always work rite)  good Luck ...Tommy B ..XXOO
