I'm so angry I can't think straight.
I am so angry I can't think straight. I go to a big nice store (hint not Wal-mart but close) and I simply hope not to spend too much if any money as I walk to the back and out again. So I end up gettin a number of things some of which sometimes will fit into the baskets they leave out around the place and sometimes that are more than the basket(s) can hold. In that case I have to walk all the damn way back to the front of the store and walk all the damn way back to do what I want to do. This under some circumstances might be fine but I am recovering from back surgery but even that shouldn't have to be an issue. I used my grey matter and thought to myself, "Why don't they put some of the carts in the back of the store? Plus that would without doubt encourage their customers to buy more. It's an obvious fact...is it not?". So I ask this. I suggest it. I am nice all the while smiling and what have you. But I get the usual run-around. First off...why am I getting a runaround? I get told that "corporate" won't allow them to do it. Why in the hell will corporate not allow them to do this? Why would they get the blame for it? Why would it not be possible to put carts in the back of the store?! This sort of thing pisses me off to no end and let me tell you it takes bunch to piss me off. As a matter of fact I have spent recent years of my life doing my best to not be a pushover for basically anything. I was like the guy hit by Chevy Chase on a bicycle in National Lampoon's European Vacation or the black knight in Monty Python's Holy Grail I think it was. Pathetic. But now I am a bad and rude person crossing a line daring to ask or suggest such a thing. And yes, last night I went off on both the manager and a couple of employees to the point where they started to cry. I have be real honest I feel like fucking shit doing that anyone. But was I explained things like don't you all want to make money? One of the girls says, "Oh, they make plenty of money.". (It's a chain we all know here in the U.S. of A.) I'm thinking to myself, "Yes, but what about YOU?!" Does your performance or even how much you all sell make any difference in anything?! It ended with me shaming the two girls who both almost started to break down crying when I asked, "What are you doing here?! Do you even know why you are here since making money is not what you are interested in?!". Fucking hell. What's fucked up here beyond this? They told me that they often put extra carts halfway back in the store (which would be and is a great help even half way). Shortly afterward not only did I remember that in the past BUT THAT I WAS THE ONE WHO SUGGESTED IT TO THEM TO DO SO IN THESE VARIOUS LOCATIONS. So not only was I being lied to by the manager but they actually were doing it half-assed on my part in the first place but she either didn't know what was going on in her store or was lying or too damn lazy to do anything about it. (I guess on top of this I am not to make a judgement with her being an absolutely hugely fat person. Not in 2020. That would make me a bad person and judgmental. Because no one are being judgmental with me.) I also then remember joking as ofter being one of the last leaving at night about the lights being turned out on me and guess what they started to do at at least one of these locations when it was closing time? They started turning half of the lights off. I also joked about them letting the dogs out at closing time I'm glad they don't do everything I suggest. Jesus.
THEN I went to two different restaurants (both chains that most if not all of us have heard of in the U.S.) that are also chains and there was a 45 minute wait at one and a 30 minute wait at another. This was and is a usual occurrence. Good for them. I then proceeded to ask (since it had been this way for years at both of these places.) if they knew if they were going to open up any more places in town? I then get, again, runaround answers and responses with giggling smiles on their faces that there were some others in town and I proceed to tell them this is the same issue at all of the places. I then asked if they enjoyed doing this waiving my hand around indicating what I was talking about concerning making so many people waiting for so long. This then confuses the seater person as they obviously don't and they get embarrassed as am I for going this far. I then strongly suggest that they ask and enquire with their bosses and even suggest that they do open up more restaurants which is of course met with though not verbally stated that I'm a fucking idiot and don't understand many different things. All of which may be true but it is also an indicator that there is something much more profound going on here than capitalism being allowed to work in some sort of manner that works for the owner/workers and customers as well. So in the mean time we are suppose to all have a miserable rotten experience when it is isn't needed to be. There was even one time in the past where I have even offered to pay DOUBLE the price of my meal if they would seat me ahead of everyone else but that is considered immoral, unacceptable, and impossible to do either. As I said something else is going on than them being allowed to make as much money as they can. On top of that I suggested at one of these places that they jack the prices up so that they would not have to deal with so many people but everyone thinks I am fucking idiot for that and of course rude and mentally ill. How dare I care about others or even myself? How dare I ask what's going on or make a suggestion to something basic? Who do I think I am? What do I think I am doing? Scared? Well, you fucking should be because there is obviously multiple things going on preventing people to have dignity, respect, and the ability to increase their financial success. And it has nothing to do with me asking the employees what's up and why they can't do basic things to make the experiences and services better. Otherwise the retail store is basically enacting human trafficking and or slavery as far as I am concerned. I couldn't believe the self mutilation I saw I two girls in two of their places on their tongues. If I did not know better I would have thought they had been BRANDED. FUCKING GET IT?!! Jesus. Oh! I am sorry. I wasn't only not to think any of this but I dare to speak about it. Bastard I am. To be punished I shall be, right? Fuck off.
ZZ double up on the BP meds man, take a Xanax. You're gonna pop a blood vessel in your brain. You don't want to live another 20 or 30 years incapacitated to the point someone else has to wipe your ass for you do you? Release the pressure valve, masturbate before shopping. You can argue your point all you want but do you really think it's going to make a difference? If you're going to get angry over a 30 minute wait for a meal that's going to take 20 mins to eat then you're putting yourself in that situation, don't put yourself there. Deep down you know you can't beat a good bacon cheese burger with only a 5 minute wait.
You're not going to make major corporations change the way the run things because you run what in your mind is a better idea across them. Just go to where you know the merchandise you're looking for is located, grab it and check out. That's what I do and it just kills my neighbor who was born with a quadruple set of the gay man's shopping gene, in fact he got mine, he hates going shopping when it's my car we use. Long shopping time is what puts me in the mood you seem to have been put in. In short, if something happened to you then who is post the hot vids you post and talk in such explicitly boner making pornographic language?
well lets see you have back surgery this doesn't mean stores you go to friends you have and the freakin world doesn't owe you shit for it--those carts they use in back for big items is for them to use and you ask nicely if you can get this that and the other put on it and took up front--then guess what they help load it in your car--should be nice considering your bad back
companies sale stuff for a price why should they raise the price and whether you shopped there one week or 40 yrs your service is no more important than the next person..did you know majority of franchises like long johns and dominoes pizza and other food places are opened by regular people like ourselves--they save money or if have good credit get a loan from a bank toopen up a place in area because they think it will do good business there..
so you mention raise prices--what should they do when you get there for your turn--oh its you--oh ok guys lower prices a customer that thinks he is better than the last one is here----if they raised prices that means less people would buy their product then after so long have to close their doors-- I do agrre some places it sucks to wait--texas roadhouse --a steak place near me is always crowded and people think expanding the place or opening up another place nearby-will work-- but that building costs money to cook in and seat customers--and in some cases wwont pay for it--they are the for profit not charity--they don't have a sign says this is a non profit organization on their windows-
I don't wanna sound like an ass--I work pay my taxes and move along with life--but I am sick of tired of welfare talking care of lazy assed people im tired of people getting a ssi check or disability check because they have a drug problem --I am tired of people hooked on drugs and other shit and expect the government to pay for their addictions------government gives people cell phones and food stamps a health care/medical card--but cant afford to give the working class any kind of help--but the working class puts up with shitty health insurance that someone sit and figured out if charge so much per check and what they will cover--the insurance is obsolete--deductables are a joke for office visit--pay 25 bucks for doctors visit just to get a bill for the rest later
so while youre worried about asking for help to get big items and having to wait for food in a restaurant theres other important things to worry about.. did you know the carts /buggies you do get to use when shopping in these stores--each cart costs an average of 100 to 150 bucks each the cart you wanting to haul your big box items probably cost 300 bucks then becomes a safety issue as kids and idiot teens will hop on them ride them around run people over or damage a car or hurt themselves
just look at both sides of the coin before bitching and be patient like the rest of us have to
just get a cart when you go in.
A most excellent rant! But you fail to realise that the essential problem is not the employee you come up against in a retail and restuarant venue, its the corporate structure above them. The low level service employee person has replaced what used to the middle class manufacturing class. So Zanyzander get used to it, because its not changing until worker gender pay equalises, top earning corperations start paying income taxes and until the top 10% wealthiest, income earning people are forced to pay the same rate as upper middle class families incomes pay, without most of the loopholes and tax credits afforded them.
Wtf? You're one of those people that knows how to do everyone's job but your own. You can't go out and actually enjoy yourself because you find something wrong with everything you look at. Putting carts in the back of the store? That is the stupidest idea. Shut the fuck up.
