Here's something to maybe help you feel good even though the world seems to be going to hell.....

I was looking around to see what new music videos were on YouTube the other day and came across a video listed as just "Sam" singing Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone". Boy was I surprised and impressed! This kid can sing. His full name is Sam Wilkinson. He reminds me a bit of Cat Stevens. He even does Cat Stevens' "Father and Son" in the semi-final round. Also, Sam does a song he wrote, "Everything's Alright", in the finals, after performing it unofficially in the blind audition episode. Short backstory.... He started playing/singing like 5 years before he entered "The Voice Kids", and lost his mother to leukemia about 15 months before he entered. His coach was Danny Jones of McFly. This post includes two different videos that have all of Sam's performances on the show, right through the finals. Let me know what you think. He has a very distinctive style. 

UPDATE: He posted a new video June 5th. He sings Bob Marley's "Redemption Song". Lol Thanks to the UK quarantine, he could maybe use a haircut......

The next video is just all the performances on "The Voice Kids UK" with no backstory or coach comments.

And, yeh, I'll admit to crying a bit when I first watched because I found his performances very moving. Like I said earlier, let me know what you think....... Hope you like!
