Yep. More so in my younger years and still somewhat to this day. I've learned to work my way around it. I can do a speaking engagment in front of 50 people from 6th graders to adult groups and the butterflies, anxiety and shyness are gone in under 5 seconds. I am the one speaking, it's my talk and so I am the one in control. When it comes to sex I usually let the other guy make the first move or insinuation.

Not now, but I was when I was younger, and I had a stammer.
Everything changed for me when I joined the Merchant Navy. I was a 2nd Electrical Officer on UK flag ships. After a while my stammer stopped and I grew in confidence.Â
