How old do you all think the producers and directors were who made gay porn in the 1970's or early 1980's such as this? Â Â Â Do you think that there was any chance they did not smoke, drink, and or maybe do drugs and actually took care of themselves? Â In the sense that they were not morally corrupt? Â Â I ask this in the sense that I don't think just because someone does gay porn means there was anything wrong with them but, Lord, it seems for me that even the wild and immoral 1970's that homosexuality was still rather forbidden for most people and views as being grotesque. Â Â I don't know. Â I understand myself and time eternal with humanity concerning behavior, judgement, standards and values, and views and perceptions of all sorts of things but it seems some folks walked on the wild and dangerous side at times with things such as this since it seems it was viewed as being so immoral by most people.

This movie is from the Brentwood collection and was made by the famous gay porn producer and director, Matt Sterling, whose real name was Jack Default -- and he made this one under the pseudonym Jack Tyler. He was born in 1942, and started making films in 1970, at 28. This collection of loops is from the early-to-mid-70's, so he was probably in his early-30's when the loops were filmed. I don't know much about his personal life, but we owe him a lot, because he was one of the founding fathers of the modern gay porn industry.This Brentwood series led to the creation of Falcon Studios, but he's even more famous for his classic films on HIS Video. He died in 2006, at 64.
