Feature Request: Allow Post Author to Delete Comments on the Videos They Post
I'm seeing a ton of spam comments on video posts advertising random websites. These comments are made by a number of different accounts so just banning one user isn't going to solve this issue.
If we could delete comments on our posts, we can clean up our pages ourselves instead of having to ask a site Admin to do it for us and, hopefully, the spammers will eventually stop flooding the site with garbage
Would you want this feature for every video despite who actually produced it or just for original content - the videos that you actually filmed
Do we not have the ability to censor our own page already?
So why not extend that to comments made to one's own videos/pictures uploaded?
One should have control over one's own page in that regard...
And what exactly is your reasoning to be able to censor comments? You have only uploaded 3 videos 2 years ago and only 2 have comments with not one spam or advertising post in them What are your motives for your request to censor when it doesn't even affect you? You can easily report said spam or advertising (if you ever get any) to Nick so he can delete the user who has probably posted on other videos as well. Seeing as you have so few videos with no spam or advertising comments one has to wonder what your motives are.
On one hand, it would weed out the crass and lurid comments; on the other, it is censorship or bullying. Which is more valuable to you? I find approaching the poster directly more effective.
