Water from the Earth

The sea lies before me
The power in it's vastness, overwhelming
For what is a single dropp of rain in the vastness of the sea?
What shall it offer to such a tremendous collective?
There is nothing to the joining of that drop
Or so it would seem, but I wonder as I always must
And in my contemplation I see that significance
For the ocean is bore down upon by the heat of the sun
And under such heat evaporation is inevitable and so it is
That the watery plains wane, dropp by drop
For each dropp that leaves there must be another
Or else forever lost is the greatness of that which flows over the eart
