Fire Island was decimated by the Aids Virus in the to late 80's into the early 90's. Sad but it's made a come back since then, Our Dad went there a few times and it was quite something then, somehow he was totally unscathed by 80's but has since passed away. Seeing this makes us partly understand the attraction of the place as was the Village and free wheeling Frisco was an eye opener too for him from the miserable time he had in Jo'burg growing up but his freedom came in Amsterdam in 1982. He never returned to to South Africa after that. Thanks for posting this Film up.
