This is definitely one of the most eerie and chilling pieces of Queer cinema I have seen and it's definitely a film you'll never forget. I agree with FOXIFOX9, more positive-affirming gay films are my forte but I enjoy horror to a degree. This is my own personal interpretation of the film, yet I think Grant did lust for Ben in turn, not in the way the latter did and this was an "initiation" of sorts. Definitely a hard film to watch but it is a cautionary tale on falling in with shady crowds and pursuing crushes that may not be all we think they are.

Poor boy. I would like to go inside the movie to help him. I didn`t like the movie. Especially the end that leaves me thinking of the worst happening to this poor cute boy. I wonder why gay theme films are always so depressive. I would like to watch happy romantic gay film.

yeah, I have seen this before and actually copied to my old computer videos. I also agree with braedan that the end got me. I was not sure what happened, ie, did he get killed?
And what about that other kid with the one that was stipped him? Leaves you think!!

Wow. As a piece of film making this is impressive, inventive and original. The tension and menace are expertly developed. The switch in POV of the camera from about 14:00 to 17:00 was enormously effective in ratcheting that tension up and totally sold it to me. All kinds of great camera work from then on. The acting (apart from the teacher at the start) was really good. This film is sophisticated as well, with metaphorical sub levels oozing all over the place. I wasn't quite prepared for how awful it actually got at the end, and how the director and actors managed to still mix in an unavoidably erotic aspect to that, which is quite a feat. What can I say. A masterclass in tension buildilng film techniques.
