I know a spot in the Lincolnshire Wolds just like this, complete with wire fence and a clump of trees in the distance as we have here. And believe me, it's ideal for this kind of pleasant solo activity. I can understand why this boy chose this bit of countryside - wherever it is - to have a few moments of quiet pleasure by himself.
