Yes, jamie45, I noticed the subtitles were often very wrong. But the only reason to put English subtitles onto a movie where everyone is already speaking English would be for deaf people??

Interesting for sure. The subtitles are something else, totally wrong in so many places.

Because of the subject matter, this film was misunderstood and never given the credit for what a terrific film that it was. It was misjudged at glorifying pedophilia, which of course it did not. (I was too young to see it when it came out, but I saw it in Netflix a couple years ago.)
