You're right, bbbottomnm -- I've corrected the date. The Gay Erotic Video Index says it was released in 1973, but it's listed in IMDB with a 1971 date, and there were reviews of the film in 1972.

The copyright notice actually dates the film to 1971 --
Interestingly the same in which HBO's "The Deuce" is set...
