It reminds me of my older brother, me 11 him 15, I was put in care of county court, he was put in borstal. It broke my heart, we met, 15 years later, he married a widow with 2 lads 9 and 14. I was in H.M. navy. I was clear that my brother married her not for love, but for her 2 sons.
